Rooftop of Joy

 After our experience with the Lucerna Rooftop, we were offered another rooftop to completely transform. The new owners of the former House of Trade Unions (Domu odborových svazů) renamed it “The House of Joy (Dům Radost)”. We covered it with artificial turf (fake grass), set up a real deer stand (watchtower), and brought logs up there for people to sit on and drink “Krakonoš” beer with “Myslivec” shots .

Sometimes the bands Zrní, Dan Bárta, and Laco Decsi stage a concert there. At other times, paella is cooked in a pan during Spanish Night. And every Sunday there’s an outdoor summer cinema.
